4TH ANNUAL SUMMIT 2017

The 4th Annual ECDE Summit was held on Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th March 2017 at Sai Rock Hotel in Mombasa County. The summit which was themed: HARMONIZING FRAMEWORK OF STANDARDS AND QUALITY FOR ECDE SERVICE DELIVERY AS ONE IN KENYA offered opportunity for all stakeholders to debate, consult and discuss through review and analysis of minimum ECDE standards to effectively manage and Coordinate the provision of quality, affordable and equitable access in child friendly environment.​

It was also intended to strengthen the National and County Government capacity to deliver quality ECDE programs across the Republic of Kenya through an agreed holistic approach and provide an enhanced understanding of the role of National Government and County Government for effective implementation of ECDE.
​
The summit was attended by over 170 delegates and was graced by Senator Daniel Karaba Chair Senate Education Committee who was accompanied by Senator Halima, KNUT SG Wilson Sossion among other dignitaries. The summit agreed to absorb County ECDE Directors to the team and two Directors were recommended to join the CBSECE KENYA National Executive Board.
