2ND ANNUAL SUMMIT 2014

​

Competence Building society of early childhood Education for Kenya held the 2nd Annual Multicultural and Multi-stakeholders summit which was another premium event involving specialist in the field of Early Childhood Education and Youth Economic empowerment, ranging from the Hon Members of Parliament (Both Senate, National Assembly and County Assembly), Education stakeholders, Researchers, Institutions and International Donor Communities, NGOs and Youth Leaders across the Republic of Kenya and Africa with the Theme of  “BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF VERY STRONG ADVOCATES FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT”.

The event was graced by Nominated Senator Hon Judy Sijeny, Deputy Secretary General KNUT Mr. Hesbon Otieno and other invited guest from various development sectors.​ The summit was aiming at ensuring that social and financial inclusion as part of child/youth rights becomes a topic within the development agenda, and that every young person emerging into adulthood has a dignified livelihood either through education, employment and entrepreneurship as one way of eradicating poverty and debt for the next generation of Kenya.​ 

 

There was also exhibition for institutions to showcase academic programs and other development ideas and as part of public marketing and networking with implementing authorities, stakeholders and policy makers within the country. The summit attracted more than 150 education and developments stakeholders including Members of the County Assemblies, Senate /National Assembly, Researchers, Institutions/Universities among other professionals in the field of Education.
